Fed 3, Industar 61, with a brown leather case, second-hand, bought on december 29th, 1989 in Paris
The first model Fed3, type A, 1961, looked like the Fed2, with rotating advance knob, and slow speeds, obliging to reduce the base of the rangefinder to let sufficient space for the mechanism.
This Fed3, tybe B (made since 1963) is a progress compared to former models: shutter cocking lever in place of the rotating knob, the top cover has been redesigned to include the new cocking mechanism. A dioptric correction can be done by turning the eyesight. From 1977, equipped with the Industar 61 l/D.
A simplified version of Fed3-b exists, without slow speeds, under the name Fed2 type-e.
