An example of the FED production of compact cameras. It is a half-size (18x24, vertical frame) camera, the automatism is driven by a selenium cell around the lens (no battery). I am missing a manual to understand everything in the way it works.

We see a little 18x24 cameras in France, I once heard that major laboratories had agreed with the importers not to bring these products, to avoid costly investments (an automatic printer costed several million francs). The half-size camera I met the most was the Canonet, and users found it hard to have their pictures processed.
The Fed Micron 2 is a full size camera (24x36). Automation is now controlled by a CdS sensor. This one does not work.
