In the early 1980's, Fuji released a range of bayonet cameras to succeed to the M42 screwmount Fujica cameras. These cameras: Fujica AX-1, AX-3, AX-5, STX-1, respectively: Automatic aperture priority, automatic shutter priority, dual automatic + program, and semi-automatic. The mistake is to have chosen to create an original bayonet, owners of out of order cameras were left with unusable lenses, Fuji having stopped the production since. After these were released a STX-1n, then the STX-2 (with 1/1000s, other STX did until 1/700s (or 1/750s)). The name Fujica of the other cameras has been replaced by Fuji for this last one...It is a fully mechanical camera, fabric curtain shutter . Batteries (2xLR44) are only for the lightmeter (3diodes)It works perfectly and seems robust.
