The Industar-50 is excellent on the center as on the edges from full aperture. As it opens at f: 3.5, the coma is not annoying. Unfortunately it does not like the backlights and is poorly adapted to the use of a lens hood. Does not exist in MC version.
The Industar 50 (M39) from 1960 mounted on the Zenit S. At this time, the serial number is on the front, also a red "п" sign indicating an anti-reflection coating.
On this 1968 version (which came with the 1962 Zenit 3) the red "п" has disappeared, all lenses being coated.
The Industar-50 which came vith the Kristall.
On this other Industar (for Zorki) of 1968, the serial number has gone to the side of the lens.
