The Jupiter 8M appeared with the Kiev 4, this one is not the original lens of this camera.
On the left of the photo: the cocking button; you must raise this button to select the shutter speed. Right under the rewind button, the two rings (diaphragm and speeds) of the meter. The selenium sensor is protected by a metal cover that opens by pressing the top right. To the left of the cell, the focusing wheel (there is a blockage at infinity, which is disengaged by pressing the little lever behind the wheel).

Difference between 3 and 3a: the flash sync, socket at right under the viewfinder window.
Under these cameras, a little foot you can unfold to stabilize it when you put it on a flat place.
There is no take up spool (at right). The camera uses a special cassette to load the film, and a second identical one to receive it.
It's a rare version, with "KIEV" marked in Cyrillic only.
