After the 16, 16-II and 16P, Minolta produced several automatic cameras: 16EE using selenium meter, 16EE2 (=16CdS) using a CdS one. These cameras were bigger than the first models. With the 16MG, the factory went back to the small dimensions of the original models. Aesthetically, it is rather a success.
The lightmeter works perfectly, the shutter does not close perfectly, there is a hold in the control knob and the exposure-counter is blocked (there is rust on the shutter blades, this camera seems to have had wetness problems...) I'll have to plan servicing!
The MG arrived in a case, with accessories.
The contents of the box: The camera, it's bag, the flash (for magnesium bulbs), a plastic bag with the yellow and U.V. filters.
The strap is attached on a standard tripod nut. Behind, the flash plug. The flash connects directly on them (there's another tripod nut on it's bottom).
The filters get attached at the same place, held by the strap screw.
