You will find few flashes in these pages. The reason ? many people "forget" the flashes in the bottom of the bags, with the batteries inside. When they are found, the batteries have leaked, the flash is out of order and goes directly to the trash.
Christophe's flash made no exception, the battery contacts were destroyed. Luck, the flash provided by Gilles was probably stored in another direction, the battery contacts were still good, but the electronics is destroyed. In short I was able to reconstitute a flash with both.
And I have two user's manuals!
Modes of operation:
TTL auto,
Automatic non TTL, two power levels,
M/S: these modes (two power levels) correspond to a manual use with TTL bodies, indications are reported in the viewfinder.
M corresponds to a completely manual use.
The "A.Check" is used to test the range of the flash (it lights up if the subject has received enough light during the test), there is also carry of this indication in the viewfinder of the dedicated cameras, except if you put on "off" the "Finder A.Check" switch.
This flash is older than Super A and the notice does not mention it, it is necessary to refer to that of the camera, which in Program mode will itself select the diaphragm to use.
The head is rotatable and tiltable up to 15° towards the rear.
