Arrived in the same parcel as the MX, this camera appeared ugly. The top cover is made of plastic; it could have been simply painted in gray, well no, it is chrome plated! Which involves a layer of copper under the chrome. Marine air or other, copper has oxidized in places, forming small bubbles of verdigris.
I put batteries, I try, surprise: it works perfectly!
I found a cover in better condition on ebay and made the exchange.
The ME Super is an automatic, aperture priority. Metal curtain shutter, 4s to 1/2000s, flash sync 1/125s. On the ME, in addition to the "Lock" and "Auto" positions the selector proposes a flash position (manual, operating without battery) and a "B" position. The ME Super adds a manual position, with two small buttons to choose the shutter speed by successive presses.
Exposure compensation selector with the ISO sensitivity selector under the rewind button. Mechanical selftimer, no depth of field tester, "X" socket. In the viewfinder, display of the shutter speeds with diode in front of the selected one.
Of course, it arrived without lens, the one on the photo is borrowed from the MV!
The original cover.
