Praktica BMS

Praktica BMS, Carl Zeiss Jena 1.8/50mm, bought on eBay (25£) on june 4th, 2007.

The BCA is a simplified version of BC1, only automatic. The BMS is also a simplified model, this time only semi-automatic (great investment for the factory: they had to produce a new shutter-speed setting knob, without the "automatic" position...). The film-speed setting knob is simplified, without the over/under exposure setting, no depth-of-field testing-lever, different selftimer lever. The 1.8/50mm Prackticar is called "Carl Zeiss Jena" (special series for the English market, moreover it is not a Zeiss, it is a Meyer!).
