Honeywell Pentax SP 500, Super-Takumar 2.0/55mm

At the time of the Spotmatics, the Asahi Pentax were distributed in the United States by Honeywell under the brand Honeywell Pentax. This beautiful specimen is an example of that.
The SP 500 is a "simplified" Spotmatic without flash shoe (compared to SP II), without selftimer, with the engraving of the shutter speed selector stopping at 1/500s (but 1/1000s is present!).
Offered in thanks for the repair of a Zenit EM (sentimental value). The lightmeter did not work -because of a short-circuited CdS sensor- I bought on eBay another SP 500 (for parts, 28.90€ with shipping) from which I took the sensor cells. This one is now fully functional.

This camera came with with a flash shoe, original Pentax accessory.
