Before GOSSEN and the Lunasix, The pro's lightmeter was the selenium Weston. This one is in excellent condition.While on the meters that I already know the sensor is at the end, on the Weston it is on the back. Therefore to measure you hold the meter vertically, the button is used to lock the needle to make the calculation.
In high light, the sensor is behind a baffle, which toggles for low light:
And the measuring scale changes according to the position of this baffle:
The necessary accessory to measure in incident light was sold separately, under the name Invercone.
The Invercone in place on Master IV. I checked the manual, it can be used with or without the baffle.
