Delivered in a "Zenit" dark blue textile bag, with a worn "Helios" flash.
Technically, the 122 seems directly issued from the 12xp, with a great improvement: a "real" film counter (which resets when pressing the release button for rewinding) and an "all plastic" clothing. The curious rectangular window on the bottom right is not on every Zenit 122 (this one has been made in 1990, first year of production), it's for showing a part of the film box (there is a slit on the side)
We saw on the offer that this one was equipped with a Helios 44M-6, Christophe negotiated a very reasonable price. Externally, the camera is perfect but the meter does not work. Job for the long winter evenings...The cardboard of the packaging bears the mark of the French importer SLAVA. No printer reference, I wonder if it may have been printed in the USSR?
I needed a LED display to repair a 122K, I bought this camera body for the "loot". Then, as it was in excellent condition, I remade a display! (see DIY pages).
