This is a simplified version of the AM, without selftimer.
Arrived in its original box, with:-The flexible blue bag standard of the time-The Manual in Russian (contains a paper sheet which seems to be the purchase invoice) This notice is common for the 3 models AM, AM-2, AM-3.-A Zenit-strap (brown)-The four R6 batteries external adapter-The battery adapter-The eyecup cover. Lack M42 adapter and flash socket protecting cap.The camera is not new but in good condition.
The way of marking am2 appear to be linked to more recent cameras (this one is from 1995 and the other from 1992).It's an "export" version, Zenit is written in western characters, and it is "made in Russia ".Also delivered in an original packaging, with manual (but the serial numbers do not correspond to this camera), strap, caches for eyesight and shoe flash, power supply, with a new model bag, black (see "Accessories").
This is the same as above, but with Cyrillic markings. Arrived in a current model bag, but black, with: A UV filter and a yellow-green filter, wearing the logo of the Lytcarino plant, and a polarizing filter, wearing the Zagorsk logo.It works, of course!
The AM-2 were sold else equiped with Helios 44-K, else with Zenitar-K lens. But it is very rare to find one with the Zenitar lens.
And one more!It is the newest of the collection, one of 786 copies made in 1996, the real last year of production since only one is listed in 1997. The silvering of the pentaprism is defective, this is rare with Automats and AM's.
