The last version in M42x1 mount.
An internal competition was launched at KMZ to replace Helios 44; Here is the version that has been adopted as standard lens for Zenit 212K and last Zenits made. Different versions exist (K, M, K2, M2, M2s) based on slight modifications of the frame structure and materials used (plastic)(based on www.zenitcamera.com)

Amazing lens in the center from full aperture, less good on the edges like any Russian 50mm lens. The color saturation is excellent. This is my favorite standard lens. Use from full aperture for a beautiful blurring of background, or at f: 8.0 for an homogeneous image all over the field.
