Adapter rings for Sony (NEX and α7)

Back Language

After the Samsung NX arrived the Sony α7. This time also the absence of mirror allows to use almost all the lenses of my collection, but with a "full frame" sensor which allows to use all of the coverage planned for 24x36.
The α7 uses the same mount as the NEX, which makes that upon its release it was possible to find on the Internet adapter rings for all common mounts.
A "magnifier", programmable on one of the camera's buttons, allows an extremely precise focusing.

Bague adaptatrice M42-NEXThe first ring was purchased for the use of M42 mount lenses, but it is too short, the focus is beyond infinity, it should be necessary to shim the inner ring. In addition, there is no flange to press the diaphragm control finger of the "coupled" lenses, those which do not have a "manual" position are unusable.

Bague adaptatrice M42-NEXSo, second M42 ring, perfect this time.

Bague adaptatrice L39-NEXThe L39 lenses for Zorki can of course also be used, and this time the Russar MR-2 and the Jupiter-12 fit.

Bague adaptatrice Pentax K-NEXThe purchase of the Tokina 3.5/17mm was also the opportunity to buy an adapter for K-mount.

Like for the one for NX, small manufacturing defect which made necessary to introduce cardboard shims between the "base" and the Pentax ring to properly adjust the focus to infinity.

Bague adaptatrice Canon EOS-NEXThis ring for Canon EOS is useless for EF lenses, since there is no coupling for autofocus, and above all no control for the diaphragm. I just purchased it for "double ring" montages in combination with Canon rings that I already had.

But this ring is too long, it would require to be shortened almost by 1mm to be able to focus to infinity!
