Voigtländer Bessamatic

Several years ago, Denis gave me two partially disassembled defective Bessamatics, plus a bag of parts. It had been waiting ever since. And then Roberto gave me the 35mm below, and I decided to work on it. About thirty hours of work later, here is a complete and practically functional Bessamatic: replacement of the shell including a distorted mirror mechanism by the shell of the other body, rectification of distorted parts in the cocking mechanism, reassembly...

Unfortunately I was not able to achieve 100% reliability of mirror positioning, making focusing unreliable.

Interest of this camera: it is the body which was copied by the Soviets to make the Zenit 4-5-6.

The leather case has a spring system that presses the lens against the cover, it holds it with its lens hood, but it can also be placed next to it.

This lens is found under the Carl Zeiss brand, I cannot find if it was made by Zeiss or Voigtländer.

With the remaining parts, I was able to make an adapter to mount the lenses on the Sony. It has two 3D printed parts, a diaphragm control ring, and the 39 screw base. Everything is mounted on the camera via the L39 adapter ring which allows me to use my Zorki lenses.
