Pentax MV + 2.0/50mm given by one of my customers.

Pentax MVMy home is very tidy! while looking for a lost invoice, I found in a cardboard this camera, dirty, found in a junk room more than one year ago and forgotten since. The shutter-release button was seized up, blocked by the filth in down position. After disassembling and washing (water + soap) of the higher cap, everything seems to work, I confirmed it with a test using new batteries. It is an automatic-shutter camera, with a "B" position and a "X" position corresponding to 1/100s. Without battery, it works on the 3 positions, and seems to work at 1/100s also on the "Auto" position. Indications in the sight: in the middle of the left edge (unusual, all my other cameras have the indicators on the right), a small vertical rectangle, lit in orange in low light, in green in the good shutter-speed rank, in red when too much light; in lower part, a little “X” which I suppose lits in case of use of a dedicated flash. That's all. No selftimer, or depth of field testing lever. Compared to it, Praktica BCA or Zenit Automat seem sophisticated cameras!
The rewind crank is broken, I replaced it with a small adaptation by the one from a "ME".
I made a test-film, the exposure seems correct.
