ZENIT E

Back Language

Zenit E, Helios 44-2, received on december 3rd, 2009, in a lot of 28 camera bodies bought for parts.

Zenit E

One of the oldest of my about fifteen "E", in perfect condition (after replacing the old grease as usual). The foam fixing the pentaprism is placed in an unusual way (one piece on each side, not touching the edge) the pentaprism is therefore in perfect state.

"Belomo" Zenit E, Helios 44-2, received on december 3rd, 2009, in a lot of 28 camera bodies bought for parts.

Zenit E

Late Version (cover and selftimer lever "2nd generation"). Made in Belarus by Belomo.
I replaced the burnt lightmeter by the one of an EM (with adjustment potentiometer behind the screw at the right of the top cover).

And a lot of other Zenit E, bare bodies, or with Industar-50 or Helios 44-2 lenses...

Zenit EFrom time to time, a customer (knowing I like "Zenit") had a look in his cellar for a gift for me.
The “Industar 50” were missing in my collection, I got them this way.

Zenit ELook! this one has lost it's flash shoe!

Zenit EThere are some alternatives, like “Olympic” Zenit, special series for the 1980 Moscow olympic games...

"Custom" Zenit E, made from camera bodies received "for parts" on december 3rd, 2009.

Zenit E

As screws broke during removal, I had the idea to transfer everything in the shell of an EM (with belt eyelets). I had to play with the file because the cast is different around the cocking mechanism. Covering in leather imitation plastified paper. May lack a bit of paint?
