May 2013: Spotmatic and Spotmatic II

The SP500 purchased to repair the Honeywell Pentax allowed me to refurbish two other cameras.
First, this Spotmatic bought by my brother Christophe in January 2011 which since waited for its restoration.
The galvanometer was burnt out and several parts were missing: a nut from the exposure counter and springs from the reminder, a screw in the front part, the coupling of the selftimer lever (recovered from a SP-F).

Then my Spotmatic II: The pentaprism went curiously degraded, and I replaced it.

The pentaprism with this bar appeared over the entire width of the sight window, the coating of the front face appears to have been attacked by the adhesive which holds the foam.
