May 2016: Tools

To work on the Leica M5, I had bought on ebay this tool dedicated to disassembly of the cocking lever. You can find on ebay a wide range of these tools dedicated to Leica, but very few for other brands.

As I had a problem for disassembling a Nikon EM, the idea came to me to contact one of the sellers of these tools (in Slovakia) to ask if he could make a dedicated tool for me. Accepted for twice the price of a "standard" tool.
Of course, once my order validated and paid, the part of the Nikon EM came without any difficulty whereas previously it resisted!

In the same order I did make a tool for Zenit E.

And I added ("standard" size) a tool corresponding to Zenit 3M (and Kristall) and Zorki 5 and 6.
Total of my order: € 56.99 (with shipping).

I bought several years ago a simple lens spanner wrench. It is generally suitable for the Russians tanks, less for the Japanese trinkets ...

So I also bought this more sophisticated model, with three types of interchangeable tips, and more effective tightening. Perfect!
