September 2016: Zorki 6

My "customer" bought a "beautiful" Zorki 6. Finally very beautiful externally (if you like blue), ie repainted and polished, but mechanically unusable, the tensioner of one of the curtains is cut. The seller should perhaps have presented it as decorative object ...

The problem, when re-fixing a curtain, is its parallelism. So I have cut the shell from a Zenit-E that will serve me as a mounting bench.

It is repaired, but of course it is necessary to unstick the shortened tensioner to reattach it correctly.

There is still a lot of work to do. To remove the top cover, it is necessary to remove the rangefinder circular window, this window contains a slightly inclined glass, at reassembly it must be rotated to align the two images in the finder (and then check the distance measurements).
The body will make an additional round trip, the rewind does not work, I will have to rectify a piece.

During the operation on the Zorki 6, I received the Zorki 1 from the same owner: he tried to load a film which got torn inside, the shutter is now stuck in open position by debris of film.
