April 4, 2011.
Thierry unpacks a "child booster seat" and installs me on the passenger seat of the Saxo. I will be able to see the scenery (and be admired) What a pride!
We go to Christophe's*, at the south of Avignon. He has to roughcast his garage and Thierry will (try to) help him.
The first part of the journey leads us to the Cantal. Almost only motorway, we did not make any picture.
*Christophe is the little brother of Thierry.
April 5, 2011.
This is the house Thierry's parents have in Cantal (not far from the Garabit Viaduct). Thierry made the photo with a "fisheye" (Zenitar 2.8/16mm).
He sent pictures to his friend Victor, and Martin (son of Victor), seeing this one, said: "have you seen the size of the door?"
Course not! the door is normal, it is me who am very small (one meter, even so!)
Here, I take a breath of fresh air while Thierry packs his clothes, then we hit the road again to south.
Behind me, right at the bottom, is Ispagnac (where is the bottling plant of the water of Quézac).
Then our route goes through the ledge of the Cevennes (between Florac and St Jean du Gard).
Here is the road of the ledge of the Cevennes before driving down to "Le Pompidou".
What a beautiful landscape!
Still a little pose before hitting the road. After that, there will no more be many nice places to stop and take pictures (or the master will have lost inspiration!)
