Voir texteIt's hard to realize from the pictures how this camera is dirty!
It will need a disassembly, including the front, the sealing foam is disintegrated as well as that of the back.

Voir texteStrip off!

Voir texteCleaning of foam residues,
Touch up paint.

Voir texteCleaning (scouring!) with Miror the cover parts, cleaning foam residues sticked on the back edges.
Attempt of dent removal of the cover at the level of pentaprism, not terrible ...

Voir texteCleaning of small items, and a few small touches of black paint.

Voir texteNew foams have arrived, reassembly can begin.
Sticking of the mirror damping foam, and of the light-tight foam of the front block.

Voir texteSetting up the light-tight foam of the back. This foam is a little thicker than the slot, to force. Not obvious.

Voir texteReassembly of the back and baseplate.

Voir texteReplacing the mirror and automatic diaphragm mechanism. Small copper washers are used as shims for the front. Marked during disassembly, they are held in place by a drop of grease to prevent them from moving while repositioning.

Voir texteReassembly of the front and the top cover. It begins to look like a camera!

Voir texteSome tests, then end of reassembly
