January 2, 2014.
Thierry rehabilitated since September two vintage Singer sewing machines (see here ). He obtained to equip them many original accessories, which he tried. The next step is of course to move to a concrete realization, preferably for me!

Here is what I hope to be only the beginning of the 2014 summer collection!

Skirt made on 28 and 29 December.
The top of the fabric is gathered using the "ruffler" and its "shirring plate" mounted on the treadle 28K.

The red thread seams are made with the motorized 127K, the hem with the adjustable hemmer.

For the top, sewn on January 2, after many trials and reflection: same method for gathers at the shoulders, and tiny 2mm wide hems made with a hemmer foot.

The back.
It is very light!
Another novelty, this is my first poses in front of a new camera, the Sony Alpha 7. The lens is a Zenitar 2.0/50mm.

This time, there was enough fabric to cover my chest decently!
It's over? then I will quickly pass a sweater!

12 janvier.
Thierry was not satisfied with the top of my dress (too much fabric?). He found on Internet a pattern for bikini top that pleased him, but there was no more fabric!
His sister Annie, to whom we owe this cloth, sought in her things, and there remained another coupon.
An afternoon of work, and voila!

The dimensions of the model needed to be adapted, so we started by testing with a piece of cloth (also gathered with the "ruffler"). The width is good, the height will need to be slightly reduced.
